Evil Dead Burn Arrives on OTT, Starts Streaming on HBO Max and ZEE5 in India

The latest chapter in the Evil Dead horror franchise, Evil Dead Burn, has arrived on OTT. The film began streaming on October 2, 2026, following its theatrical release in July. It is available globally on HBO Max, while the film is also listed on ZEE5 in India with English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu audio options.

From Theatres to Streaming

Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, Evil Dead Burn was released theatrically on July 10, 2026. It is the sixth film in the Evil Dead franchise and the third feature following the series' 2013 reboot.

The film subsequently became available for digital rental and purchase before moving to subscription streaming.

Now Streaming on HBO Max

Warner Bros. officially announced that Evil Dead Burn would make its global streaming debut exclusively on HBO Max on October 2.

The film is also being promoted as part of HBO's Halloween-season horror programming, with a television premiere scheduled for October 3 in the United States.

ZEE5 Release in India

For Indian viewers, Evil Dead Burn is listed on ZEE5, where the film is available with English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu audio options. ZEE5 lists the movie with a runtime of approximately 1 hour 46 minutes and an A rating.

This makes the film accessible to Indian audiences through a local OTT platform alongside its international streaming availability.

What Is Evil Dead Burn About?

The story follows Alice, a woman dealing with the death of her husband who seeks support from his remaining family at their secluded home.

The gathering takes a terrifying turn when members of the family begin transforming into Deadites, forcing Alice into a fight against a supernatural evil.

The Cast

The film stars:

Vaniček directed the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Florent Bernard. Sam Raimi, who created the Evil Dead franchise, is among the producers.

A New Chapter for the Franchise

Evil Dead Burn continues the franchise's established combination of supernatural horror, Deadites and extreme visual effects while introducing a new group of characters and a new setting.

With its move to streaming, the film is now available to audiences who missed its theatrical run and to existing franchise fans looking for the latest entry.

TVR Perspective

The OTT arrival gives Evil Dead Burn a second release window only a few months after its theatrical debut. For Indian viewers, the availability of multiple audio options on ZEE5 also broadens access to the latest Evil Dead chapter.
