E vil Dead Burn Arrives on OTT, Starts Streaming on HBO Max and ZEE5 in India The latest chapter in the Evil Dead horror franchise, Evil Dead Burn , has arrived on OTT . The film began streaming on October 2, 2026 , following its theatrical release in July. It is available globally on HBO Max , while the film is also listed on ZEE5 in India with English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu audio options.  From Theatres to Streaming Directed by Sébastien Vaniček , Evil Dead Burn was released theatrically on July 10, 2026 . P rotests Erupt in Delhi and Mumbai Over Electoral Roll Revision , Hundreds Detained Protests over the Election Commission ’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls intensified in Delhi and Mumbai on October 2, with demonstrators raising concerns about voter-list changes and demanding greater transparency from the poll body.  The demonstrations involved opposition parties, student organisations, civil-society groups and the youth-led Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). G ujarat Uniform Civil Code Gets Presidential Assent, Becomes Second State After Uttarakhand President Droupadi Murmu has given assent to the Gujarat Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill, 2026 , clearing the constitutional hurdle for the legislation and making Gujarat the second state in India after Uttarakhand to enact a Uniform Civil Code .
