Sonam Wangchuk Hospitalised After 21-Day Hunger Strike; Protest Continues Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi on Saturday after completing a 21-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, where he had been protesting over alleged examination irregularities and demanding accountability from the government.  Jammu & Kashmir Flash Floods Leave 12 Dead; Rescue Operations Continue At least 12 people have died and several others remain missing after heavy rainfall triggered flash floods and landslides in the Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu & Kashmir. Rescue teams from the administration, police, SDRF, Army and local volunteers are continuing search and relief operations in the affected areas. Officials said the torrential rain caused rivers and streams to overflow, damaging homes, roads and bridges. Several families have been shifted to safer locations, while emergency teams continue to clear blocked roads and provide essential supplies.
