Oasis Documentary Brings Gallagher Brothers’ Reunion Story to the Screen

Oasis Documentary Brings Gallagher Brothers’ Reunion Story to the Screen

The long-awaited Oasis reunion story is coming to cinemas with Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger, a new documentary capturing Liam and Noel Gallagher as they return to the stage together after years of separation.

The film follows the brothers during Oasis Live ’25, the band's hugely anticipated comeback tour that marked their first live performances together since Oasis split in 2009.

A Reunion More Than 15 Years in the Making

At the heart of the documentary is the relationship between Liam and Noel Gallagher, whose famously turbulent brotherly relationship kept Oasis apart for more than a decade.

The filmmakers were given unprecedented access to rehearsals, backstage moments and performances as the brothers prepared to return to the world's biggest stages.

The documentary also captures the moment of reconciliation between Liam and Noel, with Disney+ executives revealing that the cameras were rolling when the brothers finally made peace after years without contact.

First Joint Interview in More Than 20 Years

One of the film's major elements is the brothers' first joint interview in more than two decades.

Rather than focusing only on the band's concerts, the documentary explores how the reunion affected the brothers, their families, their fans and a new generation discovering Oasis music.

From Feud to Global Comeback

The Oasis Live ’25 tour became one of the biggest music events of 2025, taking the band across multiple continents and bringing millions of fans together.

The documentary's directors, Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, have described the film as a story about reconciliation and redemption as much as it is a concert film.

The film was also selected for the Venice Film Festival, where it premiered out of competition, putting the Oasis reunion story on one of cinema's biggest international stages.

Coming to Cinemas and Disney+

Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger began its theatrical release in September 2026, with the film arriving in cinemas internationally and streaming on Disney+ later this year.

For Oasis fans, the documentary offers something the band's history rarely provided: a close look at Liam and Noel Gallagher putting years of conflict behind them and sharing the stage once again.
