Nani’s The Paradise to Release Without a Trailer Before Theatrical Debut
Nani’s much-awaited The Paradise will reach theatres on September 24, 2026, without a conventional theatrical trailer. Nani confirmed the decision at a recent press meet, explaining that the team chose to concentrate on completing the film rather than diverting key members of the production toward cutting and promoting a trailer.
The unusual promotional strategy means audiences will have to enter theatres with considerably less information about the film than is normally revealed ahead of a major release.
The film is directed by Srikanth Odela, who previously collaborated with Nani on Dasara. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, while SLV Cinemas is producing the project.
Nani Confirms There Will Be No Trailer
Speaking at the press meet, Nani said the team had decided that there would be no trailer for The Paradise before its theatrical release.
According to Nani, producing a trailer of the quality the team wanted would require several days of work from director Srikanth Odela and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. With the film still in its final stages, the team decided that completing the movie was more important.
Nani also indicated that he personally would have liked to put together a strong trailer, but said the collective decision was to prioritize the film itself.
The Film Already Has a Teaser
Although there will be no conventional trailer, The Paradise has already received an official teaser.
The teaser was released on August 20 and introduced Nani's character and the film's darker visual world without revealing the complete story. Saregama Telugu's official release lists Nani, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni, Raghav Juyal and others among the cast.
The promotional campaign has also included songs such as Aaya Sher and Yeshanagula.
Why the Makers Chose to Skip the Trailer
Nani's explanation centers on timing rather than a lack of promotional plans.
The actor said the team did not want to pull the director, composer and other key members away from their work on the film simply to create another promotional video. Cinema Express reported that Nani said preparing the kind of trailer the team wanted could take around four to five days.
The decision also keeps more of the film's story away from audiences before release.
That approach is particularly notable because conventional theatrical campaigns increasingly use trailers to establish the plot, characters and scale of a film weeks before its arrival.
Nani Wants the Film to Speak for Itself
Nani has also described The Paradise as more than simply an action-oriented film.
In his interaction with the media, he referred to the movie as a mother-and-son story, while much of the promotional material has highlighted its intense and violent atmosphere.
The film has received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, according to recent reports, and has a reported runtime of around 2 hours and 49 minutes.
Nani and Srikanth Odela Reunite
The Paradise marks Nani and Srikanth Odela's second collaboration after Dasara, which was released in 2023.
The new project also brings Nani together with Anirudh Ravichander, whose music is an important part of the film's promotional campaign.
Raghav Juyal is making his Telugu-film debut with a negative role. Director Srikanth Odela recently revealed that the search for the right actor for the character lasted around eight months before the filmmaker decided to build elements of the role around Juyal's screen presence.
September 24 Release Remains on Schedule
The Paradise is scheduled to arrive in theatres on September 24, 2026.
Recent promotional activity has increased ahead of the release, including the unveiling of a new poster titled “Welcome to the era of three crows.” The filmmakers have continued to keep significant story details undisclosed.
The film is being released in multiple languages, but Nani has said he does not want to describe it as a “pan-India” film, with Telugu remaining the team's primary focus.
With no conventional trailer arriving before release, the teaser, songs and limited promotional material will be the primary sources of information for audiences before September 24.
